WE MADE IT!
I am happy to report that we all arrived safe, sound and sore in downtown SF around noon today-- 320 miles in four days, including a looong 102-mile day, with 5,000 feet of climbing-- THAT was tough!
It was a fantastic experience, made all the more so by the really wonderful group of riders who we pedaled with. Many of them are young professionals, working for environmental organizations, but it was a broadly diverse group, very friendly and all excited to be part of such a special experience.
As you see from the graph, I have exceeded my goal of $10,000-- everyone at Greenbelt is ecstatic about that, and about the fact that the G.A. team raised almost $40,000 for GA--YES!
